The Termitière Model of Community Economic Autonomy
La Termitière develops an innovative approach to economic inclusion based on the conviction that the financial stability of individuals and families does not rely solely on access to income, but also on knowledge, trust and community solidarity.
Inspired by the principles of community capital and economic resilience, the Termitière model combines economic education, community support and the organization of collective mechanisms for financial and entrepreneurial support.
This model aims to transform the informal solidarity existing in communities into a structured, responsible and sustainable economic capacity.
It is based on the idea that when financial knowledge, mutual trust and collective structures develop together, communities can strengthen their economic stability and financial dignity.
La Termitière's programs constitute the different pillars of this model and together contribute to creating an ecosystem of learning, support and community economic development.
