A model for community economic autonomy
La Termitière develops an innovative model based on three complementary pillars:
Economic education
Community support
Structured community capital
When knowledge, trust and solidarity grow stronger, communities can develop true economic autonomy.
Building community economic empowerment, together.
La Termitière Solidarity Cooperative is a cooperative without social shares, founded in 2017 by a group of Francophone independent workers in the Greater Toronto Area. It supports Black and immigrant communities in their economic lives, projects and ambitions.
